Thursday October 13, 2016 – Reelworld Film Festival – Harboufront Centre – Very happy to a featured poet along with Patrick DeBelen, Cathy Petch, Rahul Gupta, and Ian Keteku. Tuesday June 28, 2016 – TD Downtown Jazz Festival – Nathan Phillips Square – So honoured to be joining my Uncle Michael Occhipinti and The Sicilian Jazz Project as a special guest poet that will be performing an older poem called “Lingua E Dialetto” by Ignazio Buttita with the band. This will be from 12pm – 1pm City Hall Nathan Phillips Square.
Saturday June 25 2016 – Artisans At Work – Local Authors Book Fair – Will be one of several great features reading and performing poetry and will also have the last of my last chapbook “Make Our Peace With Rattlesnakes” (LyricalMyrical Press) for sale. Also joining me will be such talented poets as Michael Mirolla, Linda Stitt, Cathy Petch, Norman Cristofoli and Norman Allen. Tuesday January 5, 2015 – Black Swan – Art Bar Team Reading Night – So very happy and honoured to be a part of the ArtBar Team Reading night. I will be sharing a short set of my poetry and spoken word, and sharing the stage with the other fantastic and beautiful Art Bar volunteers to kick of the year. These names include: Cynthia Gould, Stephen Humphrey, Lee Sweeney, Alana P Cook, Margaret Code, & Rahul Gupta. Monday October 27. 2015 – C’est What – Hot Sauced Words – Launch Of Nik Beat’s “Amazing Secret Dreams” – So honoured to be taking part in this event, that helps to launch Nik Beat’s posthumous poetry collection “Amazing Secret Dreams” from Piquant Press. I along with several other poets such as Norman Cristofoli, Alexandra Innes,, and Nancy Bullis, will be covering some of the poems in the anthology. Sunday October 25, 2015 – Cabaret Noir – Hirut Restaurant – So absolutely happy and honoured to be featuring at this awesome event put on by Lizzie Violet, and sharing the stage with some truly fantastic cats. Comedienne Kat Leonard, Singer/Songwriter Neil Traynor, and the lovely Heather Babcock, who will most probably be reading from her awesome book “Of Being Underground And Moving Backwards.” Hosted by the ever cool ever awesome Lizzie Violet. This event goes down at Hirut Restaurant 2050 Danforth Ave steps east from Woodbine Subway Station on the north side. Doors 8pm Show 9pm PWYC (Suggested $5.00-$10.00). Please come on out!
